SBID X Cosentino X GRAFF Panel Discussion

The people

Peer-to-peer learning is invaluable amongst the design community. We understand the importance of informing, educating and inspiring future specifiers as part of deepening a brand’s standing in the sector. For two of our clients, Cosentino and GRAFF, there was a mutual desire to target more designers currently working on active bathroom projects, with messaging around uncompromising on quality.

Two birds, one stone – we joined forces during one of the UK’s most prestigious design festivals.

The power

Working with the Society of British & International Interior Design (SBID), we hosted a panel discussion on ‘Mastering Luxury Design – The Importance of specifying premium bathroom products’ during Clerkenwell Design Week. As the bathroom evolves from clinical function room to living space, this high-traffic, high-demand area is constantly changing. The panel discussion set out to explore the challenges surrounding bathroom design, focusing on the vital importance of not compromising on quality and specifying premium surfaces and brassware.

Utilising the SBID’s extensive network of British interior designers, we hosted the event at Cosentino’s new Hatton Gardens showroom; driving targeted footfall to the brand’s new design hub. The panel, chaired by SBID’s founder Vanessa Brady OBE, comprised spokespeople from both brands and Head of Design at Zulufish, a renowned interior design practice.

With extensive pre-event marketing, the event had strong attendance and engagement from the design community. The aim to bring numerous top designer firms in front of our clients was executed in an authentic way.

We managed the event including:

  • Contract negotiations with all stakeholders, including data-capture and social content packages
  • Pre-show marketing across channels
  • Extensive panellist briefings and rehearsals
  • On-site set-up
  • Guest gifting bags, utilising our network to secure like-minded product placement

The impact

  • The event received over 110 guest registrations of top tier interior designers from the UK looking to specify bathroom projects
  • Post-event coverage across multiple titles within the design and KBB retail sector, as well as across social media channels
  • Increased trade account sign-ups for both brands
