Domino’s Pizza Group PLC has appointed communications agency Houston to enhance its communications with local communities. Working closely with the Stores & Communities Communications team, the new appointment is part of Domino’s ongoing commitment to deliver a better future for the communities in which it operates.

Houston will be responsible for developing and implementing a creative local PR strategy, which brings to life the positive impact Domino’s stores and their teams have in their local communities. Houston will work alongside Domino’s franchise partners, to raise awareness of new store openings, sustainability and charity initiatives, and highlighting career development opportunities at Domino’s including its Homegrown Heroes programme.

Will Hill, Head of Communications and Sustainability at Domino’s Pizza Group, said: “At Domino’s, we are driven by our purpose, to Deliver a Better Future Through Food People Love. This partnership with Houston will enable us to better showcase the great work our stores are doing within their communities, and we’re delighted to be working with them.

“We’re proud to be opening over sixty new stores this year, so it’s important for us to connect with our communities and show, for us, growth and sustainability go hand in hand”.

Jonathan Bird, Director of Business Development & Marketing at Houston, said: “We are thrilled to be supporting Domino’s and telling the story of how individual stores are enhancing local communities, through charity fundraising, job creation, sustainable initiatives and much more. We have a proven track record of delivering community and franchise communications across the UK and we are excited to leverage our prior experience in the food & drink industry to elevate Domino’s’ reputation at a local level.”
